For Clara, landscape is both a physical and an abstract experience: lines, textures, colors, and light, but also emotions, memories, and imagination.

She approaches it not through a fixed viewpoint or perspective, but as a skin or fabric, a kind of living DNA where scale can dissolve, shifting between micro and macro.

Her dual practice as a landscape architect and artist is rooted in the same impulse: to trigger feelings and memories, whether outward toward others or inward toward oneself. One discipline continually feeds the other.

In painting, her process moves between lived experience and the bird-eyes perspective, tracing coastlines, fields, and settlements as both cartographer and dreamer.
