This series is inspired by my favorite sea bathing spots, places familiar to many in Copenhagen, yet still offering a chance to disconnect from city life and reconnect with nature and oneself.

These poetic mappings evoke a nostalgic and comforting end-of-summer feeling.

The KBH Strande series brings together six watercolour landscapes and remains open-ended, inviting each viewer to complete it with their own cherished coastal place, a personal ‘Madeleine de Proust’ to carry warmth and memory into the cold, dark Danish winter.
